We often find ourselves trapped by the image we project to ourselves and others, expending an enormous amount of energy (now more than ever with social media) to protect this constructed persona. This hinders our growth by anchoring us to our present selves, causing us to become stuck, as we fail to embrace change and pursue a newer and more developed version of ourselves.
